50 yr old relative is requesting Prayers from Faithful believers.

Becky was diagnosed with Lupus during her First year At University studying to be a nurse. Having to stop studies, she returned to graduate. She gain employment at a hospital for a few years, until her disease caused the ball and shaft end of her femurs to deteriorate, and underwent surgery on both hips, in a wheelchair for 1 year, surgery failed, underwent additional surgeries on each hip for artificial replacement, walking again. Blind for Two weeks. Heart stopped and electronically resumed. Continuous joint pains. Mayo Clinic Twice. Ann Arbor multiple times. Local Hospital multiple times. Numerous Meds. Tired and weak majority of day.

•She has been plagued with increasing delibitaring effects of Lupus for 40 30 years.

•Personally pleasant /smiling, kind words, loves the Lord, feels burdensom, desires your Prayers for comfort to tolerate her condition and healing should that be Gods will.

She had a med "port" placed about 1 year ago. It was recently removed and caused a Blood Clot to form and block the Vena Cava. (Where blood is returned to the heart).

Today she scheduled for surgery to remove the blood clot.

Please consider Praying for her welling being.

There is lot's on this woman's plate, and just the fact that she is rising above these things is quite a testimony of her strength and faith in Christ. She surely has my prayers.

Yes, I've never heard of anything quite involved. Removing bone from her lower leg to replace elsewhere. Perhaps titanium was not an option? Either way, God bless and heal her I pray. Am glad she has you and us to pray for her. Failed surgeries are huge disappointments, and a lot to go through for nothing, or even making one worse.

Doctors attempted to use a wire to loosen clot, poked wire through the vena cava.
Put her on blot clot meds. Hoping she doesn't loose blood through puncture hole.

No other info this evening. They will not allow a visitor to sit with her.

Becky's sister called me this evening...
(Sister also a nurse) call Becky's Doctor;
Going to keep Becky in hospital a few days,
Then send her home.
That I wonder about. She lives alone. "My sister" lives very close, but Becky's immune system is so low, she feared the Covid thing, and saw no one over the holidays, and now this.
Terrible times to be alone.

Doctor going to work on scheduling a 2 or 3 Doctor team, to try the surgery again, might take a week or so to arrange.

She has been In hospital since February 2021. One upset after another. Attempts to fix one thing would negatively affect another thing. Steroids have contributed to increased weight and mobility is nil. Multiple surgeries and numerous procedures. Kidneys and Heart are compromised and veins still pose problems with random leaking.
It has been dastardly and very lonely, for not allowing visitors this past year.

Becky, Family, Doctors reached a decision last week to move her to a different hospital room, keep her comfortable with pain meds, allow multiple visitors at a time, family and friends daily, and are letting nature take it’s course for her to pass.

If you would please say a prayer for her family and friends to be comforted and Becky to pass peaceably into the hands of our Lord God and Savior.

Lupus is a bastard disease. We had a church member who was afflicted with it.
