I understand now why many Christians like to say 'practicing' sin in John's epistle on them of the devil committing sin. As well as preferring to say 'practicing' righteousness rather than doing the righteousness of God.
Practicing Christians are doers of His righteousness, and speak accordingly, as does Scripture.
Them who like to speak of practicing righteousness are them that practise both good and evil, both righteousness and sins of unrighteousness: they are only practicing at being Christians.
They are ever practicing at repenting of sins but never come to the place in this life of having repented of sins.
Their practicing is never-ending in this life: other than their 'unconditional' salvation, repentance is never a done deal.
Practicing Christians and doers of righteousness know they are being judged and made prepared to be resurrected in His likeness of a glorious body.
Them practicing at being Christian are them that think they are only in a practice dress rehearsal for actually doing good only and not evil, which will not come until the resurrection of the dead.
The former are them that will be unashamed at His appearing and bold in His day of judgment, but the latter are them that will be found naked at His appearing, as that of a thief in the night.
