Prayer for David

Good morning brothers and sisters. My nephew David, just turned 25 years old is being led down a dark path by some questionable "Christians". He and I have sat down with bibles and prayers for up to 4 hours at a time. I am very pleased with his zeal these past 2 years with him. He is very impressionable and has fallen in with a group that my sister (his mom) and my other brothers and sisters believe is a cult. He has suddenly moved to Texas and my sister is beside herself with concern for him. We all are praying for him. I will say no more other than that you would please say a prayer for him to stay on the narrow road with only the Holy Spirit leading him.

Oh, Nancy, this sounds like a God Problem for Him to deal with.

Hand David over to God to be included among those whom God is drawing to Himself in faith, and then, continue in your faith when prompter too, with Great Joy and Gladness, that God has heard your prayerful request and is working on drawing David to Himself so that David my know God's great love for Him and also know God's purposes for his life and that he will willingly enter into the purposes God has for Him.

Hi, Nancy. If you don't mind straying a bit from a "prayer-only" thread, what is it about this group that you find questionable?

I remember when my sister joined a Disciples of Christ church. I was sure it was a cult.
