I don't believe in the Rapture Theology myself. However, If there is a rapture it's not gonna make much difference if I don't believe it because it is not an issue of salvation...If there isn't a rapture, you'll find me with my hand to the plow....:)

Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. (8) Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (5) Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. (6) Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 1 Thess 5:4-6

Jesus is powerless to do that for His mother, but "raptures" everybody else?

Jesus's mother has been in heaver over 2000 years and on rapture day will receive a new immortal body as all believers will!!! PTL.

YES!!! The bodies of all dead believers will be resurrected and rejoined with their soul and spirit in the twinkle of the eye and they will have new immortal bodies for eternity

The catching up of all believers IS the rapture!!!

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

I don't know much about eschatology.
But could you help me with this:

Is Jesus coming back one time or two times?
If the rapture is true, that means Jesus is coming back twice..
Once for the rapture and once at the end of the world.

How do you reconcile
Acts 1:11 and
Mathew 16:27 ?
