Religious Liberty!

Frank Sinatra heresy song!

“That’s America to me”

(All races And religions)

Bing Crosby heresy song!

“Free to sail the seven seas”

(Free to worship as we please)

Religious liberty was condemned by Pope Gregory XVI (1830-1846) in the encyclical Mirari vos (August 15, 1832), then by Pius IX (1846-1878) in the encyclical Quanta cura (December 8, 1864).

First point:

the best plan for public society and civil progress absolutely requires that human society be established and governed with no regard to religion, as if it did not exist, or at least without making distinction between the true and the false religions and consequently the best condition of society is the one in which there is no acknowledgment by the government of the duty of restraining, by established penalties, offenders of the Catholic religion, except insofar as the public peace demands.

Condemned!!!

liberty of conscience and of worship is the proper right of every man, and should be proclaimed and asserted by law in every correctly established society; that the right to all manner of liberty rests in the citizens, not to be restrained by either ecclesiastical or civil authority; and that by this right they can manifest openly and publicly and declare their own concepts, whatever they be, by voice, by print, or in any other way.

Condemned!!!

Religious indifferentism

This twofold condemnation applies to two different expressions of one and the same error, the error of the religious indifferentism of public authorities.

The civil authorities must not intervene to repress the external manifestations of false religions within the framework of social life, which are necessarily violations of Catholic law.
Individuals have the right not to be prevented by the authorities from performing in the external forum of social life the external acts of their religion, whether it is true or false.

This error, once condemned, is today at the basis of all modern democracies.

This false principle was condemned by Gregory XVI and Pius IX in holy apostolic authority!

Religious liberty is insanity!
Pope Gregory XVI

Gregory XVI, in "Mirari vos" of August 15, 1832 DS 2730:

"We now continue with a most fertile cause of evils by which we deplore that the Church at present is being afflicted, that is, indifferentism, or that evil opinion....that by any profession of faith whatsoever, the eternal salvation of the soul can be attained, if morals are kept to the norm of the right and good.... And from this must putrid font of indifferentism flows that absurd and erroneous view or rather insanity, that liberty of conscience should be asserted and claimed for just anyone."

Pius IX, "Quanta cura," Dec. 8, 1864 ASS 3.162: [We have added numbers for convenience in commenting]".

1."For you know well...that there are not a few, who...applying that impious and absurd principle of what is called naturalism, dare to teach, 'that the best state of public society and civil progress absolutely requires that human society should be so constituted and governed, that there is no consideration of religion, as if it [religion] did not exist, or at least with no distinction made between true and false religions.'"

Jn 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way,the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jn 10:16 one flock, one shepherd.

Conclusion!

Religious Liberty is condemned by holy apostolic authority in the church of Jesus Christ!

Man made religion hates the liberty that is available in Christ.

That’s why we need a kingdom with a catholic king and queen and king representing Christ and Mary and only allowing the true faith and church revealed by God in their realm!
Without separation of church and state, without absolute freedoms, but with justice and virtue producing a glorious peace in all the land!

My faith is apostolic in nature...not based on the traditions of men. I encountered the Lord personally...and was baptized in the Spirit in my bedroom. There is NO church organization that can claim dibs on a direct relationship with the Lord. :)

The kingdom of God is not of this world..neither can it be controlled by people in the world...no matter how pompous and ecclesiastical they might be. ;)

The title of your OP is misleading if you are trying to stick God and His people in a religious box. That is the opposite of liberty.

You know, this is quite funny. Our church believes that the union of church and state under this type of rule is exactly what Revelation warns us about.

You don't need anyone in power to force religion down your neck. It is unfair and unloving to try to do this to your fellow Christians and others who do not believe as you do. Sorry, but what is wrong with you that you want to force things. Jesus certainly didn't , did He? What makes you so special? What are you gonna do with the ones who disagree with with this--your idea of glorious peace?
If you had read the Bible, you would know that this will not happen. A king representing Christ? How about we let Christ be Christ? He doesn't need an earthly representative. We can boldly approach Him. Someday, we'll live with Him.

I'll be doggoned if I EVER "venerate" (using this word as you do) Mary

Again I must commend you @theefaith . Now most here would know me sufficiently that I am no friend to catholicism as a system, but now and again am individual Catholic impressed me. And @theefaith did impress me. My first impression is that he would be the most dangerous Catholic on this forum. He has previously been very forward in starting categorically that Catholic persecution, even to the death sentience, is fully justified against all heretics. And he he is again repeating a true Catholic mindset, that only catholicism ought to be permitted in a state. Everything else ought to be cancelled.
The second thing that impressed me is his honesty. He's the only Catholic on this forum to admit and openly state the above Catholic viewpoint. Protestants, including myself, have attempted to point this out to both Catholics and protestants, but very few actually believe me. They see absolutely no danger in the fact that 7 years ago the Pope received a standing ovation in Congress. So theefaith, thank you and well done.

It’s a good rule.

The Golden Rule:

“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

(Matthew 7:12, NASB)

“Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.”

(Luke 6:31, NASB)

Do you want others to deny you of religious liberty?

Justice of the state

Does not wield the sword in vain!

Old Testament:

Ez 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Ez 9:4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

(Even those who did not worship the sun but were not grieved at this offense were slain!)

1 kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

1 kings 18:40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

(All these false prophets were killed)

Leviticus 20:27
A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

We don’t apologize for the truth of the gospel of life!

Two edge sword:

The church has received from her savior the “sacred deposit of faith” eph 4:5 Jude 1:3

And has to command from Christ to teach all men matt 28:19 without error Lk 10:16 Jn 20:21 Jn 16:13

To teach, and declare the truth of divine revelation and to condemn all errors!

To Defend and safeguard the sacred deposit of faith and all the faithful from error preserving the purity of the faith of Jesus Christ!

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

We live in freethinking Open society with “rights” like free speech, freedom of the press etc. with separation of church and state as opposed to a close kingdom, by a prime minister with the cardinal arch-bishop as the chancellor and only the true faith revealed by Christ being allowed and all other are another Gospel and error and treason not only against the king and the realm but against God!

Treason!

Heresy is treason against God and His revealed truth!

Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema!

Authority in the state!

1 pet 2: 13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

We must also forbid divorce, adultery, and all forms of sexuality against the commandments, work on Sunday’s and holidays, absolute free speech, expression, and press without any regard for morals, only the good, true, and beautiful are acceptable!

How’s that for doubling down?

1 pet 2: 13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

Where is your Christian kingdom?

then you refuse to obey scripture
Lk 1:48

satan was the first Protestant
Pride, presumption, and arrogance
Always protests and is in a perpetual state of rebellion!

you don’t think Jesus Christ is exclusive? Jn 14:6

mist ok to be a Muslim, Jew, Hindu, budist etc?

Wow. Martin Luther complained about the sale of indulgences (Poor people were out of luck) Luther also sees we are justified by faith. No crawling up steps, no need to wear a hairshirt,, justified by faith. That hacked off the church, did it not? Having folk pay for less eternal punishment, or wear things that hurt them doesn't sound Christian to me, more the opposite. I would think satan would be delighted at that.
Then we have the Bible still be spoken in Latin which the commoners did not know. And the Bible reading was pretty much discouraged till last century. Doesn't sound Christian to me either. Have to have a set of dudes explain what The Book is saying instead of reading it. Christ tells us to read it. we are to Search the Scriptures.

Do you want others to deny you of religious liberty?

there is no such thing!
