March 6, 1836, some 185 Texicans died to the last man defending the Alamo from the Mexican army in San Antonio Texas. They refused to surrender. They fought to the bitter end. And they were all killed.
Most notably are the some 36 men who rode in from Gonzales Texas to help reinforce the Alamo. When these men rode in, they already knew they would not be riding out. The noose was around the neck. But they rode in anyway.
These are men cut from another cloth. Totally lacking in the world today.
Remember the Alamo, and Goliad.
