Repent definition

I recently ran across a definition for repent: to change your attitude and ways, rejecting your past actions as undesirable.

I thought this defined the word well, do you agree? If not, how would you define it?

Agree this would be the biblical definition and the most practical for Christians.

As usual the Greek word μετάνοια metánoia, has no moral implication for the Greco-Roman culture. Simply means...To change your mind.
