Many years ago we attended a Bible study-prayer meeting at the home of Melanie, a friend and fellow church goer. One of her friends, Rita Bullock, a Holy Spirit baptized believer, had recently given her testimony before our congregation. At a prayer meeting one Saturday night at Melanie's home Rita was also attendant and I conversed with her as she stood at the sink doing dishes. A nice middle aged down to earth lady that had been touched by God.
Rita had had cancer and when operated on they found that many internal organs had been afflicted. She remarked that they "left me a little bit of this and a little bit of that". They didn't have much hope for her recovery and only loosely sewed her up, saying she must heal from the inside out if she healed at all.
Her prognosis was poor indeed. Her entire body was stressed and a host of tubes in her throat made it unbelievably sore and raw. Her only nourishment was via liquid through a tube with nutrient supplements in her IV drip. Poor Rita was indeed at death's doorstep.
She was in a semi- comatose state one day and doctors had just left her hospital room. Upon open opening her eyes she was surprised but not alarmed to find that her bed was surrounded by angels. They were not white neither were they solid. They were winged, mulilti-hued, every color of the rainbow and were translucent, semi-transparent.
One of the angels that seemed to be in charge said "we're the angels of the Lord and we've been sent to heal you".
The others said nothing but all reached out and lightly began to touch Rita all over her body. As soon as this was done they just disappeared.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Soon afterwards a nurse came into check Rita's vital signs then went and called the doctors. They were astounded and testing showed everything had improved. Rita had ceased hurting and the doctors determined that she was to get out of bed and with assistance was to walk some.
The tubes had been removed and she was started on some light broth. After a day or two the doctor said she could go home, that there was nothing more to be done for her. She was instructed to eat very bland foods and very little.
At home after weeks of starvation she ate heartily. Being a Louisianan she ate not bland stuff but red beans and rice! The Lord Jesus had most certainly healed Rita and she began to testify of it to all that would listen. I was blessed to hear and to meet this joyful woman.
