The effect of Scripture songs in terms of memorization alone is inestimable on folks of all ages but instilling the value of music as an aid to internalizing God's Word is especially beneficial to children.
We sang kid's songs to our children when they were babies and they learned to love Jesus before they could even talk very well. They can't even point to a definite time of conversion.
Once they started school it wasn't long before they started begging us to go to church school. I worked midnight shift for 9 years so I could drive them back and forth (along with a half-dozen other kids) to a Christian parochial school 30 miles from home while my wife worked part time and continued school. We home schooled them through high school.
It's a lot less work to teach kids to love Jesus early than it is to help them later when/if they get off track. Naomi will rise up and call you blessed for your efforts, Sis. :)

On YT, search, "Wonderfully Made Hidden in My Heart lullabies." There are several wonderful lullaby songs by the same people.For some reason, I can't see the video
Also ...Twila Paris produced some wonderful lullabies.
And Christy Nockels ....I can hear it in my head ...the lyrics say, "Praise the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits...." I'll try to find it.
Christy Nockels sings a lot of wonderful songs ...but I found the one I was looking for. Lisa Bevill sings it.
