12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12.

The word of God is sharp and powerful. Look at what brings separation, it is the word of God "the person of Christ."

It will be by Christ in you that you separate can separate the soul and spirit. I haven't heard many takes on how to separate the word of God, I have heard we should do it but not many specifics on doing it.

The scripture says "by the word of God, Christ in you" you separate. You can draw a line between the two. The two can be separated and if you do that it can only be done by the word of God in you. Trying whatever methods people try to separate will not work unless it is done by the Christ in you.

Matthew 10:41 "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward."
Matthew 10:42 "And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward."
