There's 5 or 6 SDA members here. They are obsessed with Catholic bashing. They often give long impressive looking references to a document that either cannot be found on line or the quote is a total fabrication, with the appearance of being official. Their false histories are often errors of omission. Everything is interpreted to fulfil so called prophecies acquired through occult channeling. The SDA is currently in a state of schism, with their own scholars pleading for amendments to "The Great Controversy" against a dictatorial leadership that refuses to grow up.

Seventh-day Adventists teach that the near the end of time the "mark of the best" of Revelation 14 will be placed upon those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday.

There are some good Sevvies, SDAs or whatever you want to call them out there that love Jesus, walk with the Lord and live good Christian lives, yeah they have got things wrong in the past and may have a few different beliefs, but at the end of the day they too believe and worship the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

That's no excuse to persecute Catholicism, which they formally do, with false books and stupid videos. Do you see Catholics doing to them what they do to us???

How do you go about persecuting someone on a forum website? I'm sure it doesn't look anything like Jan Hus burning at the stake.
Perhaps you don't believe Hus was executed by the Holy Roman Empire at the behest of the Counsel of Constance in 1415.
Do you know of any Seventh-day Adventist abusing a Catholic believer in such a fashion? I've never heard of nor seen such a thing. Is it anything like narrowly accusing people of "Catholic-bashing?"
If the restraints of law were removed do you think any Adventist would take advantage of that to do bodily harm to another precious soul for whom Christ died?
Do you know that if you are persecuted for your faith, be it Muslim, Catholic, or otherwise, your best chance of being protected under the law and in every other way possible is to contact the Religious Liberty Dept. of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Silver Spring, MD, USA, where mine and others' tithe dollars will cheerily pay for your defense?
Should you have occasion to avail yourself of such a service in the future, you are most welcome in advance.
Also, I hope and trust that you will continue to delight yourself in the LORD by practicing the faith dictated by your own conscience. :)

Dan, if you believed you knew what the mark of the beast would be, would you love me enough to warn me about it or would you keep silent to avoid offending someone's sensitivities?
If there is a mark of the beast, do you think that doing whatever was in one's own power to avoid receiving it should be seen as trying to earn one's salvation by their own works?

Of course people will receive the mark of the beast of their own free will. I would certainly not limit that to those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday.

The Millerites predated the SDAs. We need to be objective and fair about the Seventh Day Adventists and Ellen G. White. All one can say is that there is a MIXTURE of truth and error in this denomination. The problem is that 1% error can undermine 99% truth. With God it has to be 100% truth.
Well the Catholic Church already branded the Protestants as "heretics" long ago. Did the CC persecute non-Catholics? Absolutely. The historical record confirms this. Foxe's Book of Martyrs confirms this.
