In this life we all make stances on what we will defend. We also have to make the decision if this earth is our kingdom or is our kingdom of God where God through Christ reigns within us.
There is a group of people who are consider apologist, and the word it comes from is apologia, when means defend. They must defend whatever comes along the way in which they disagree with.
In my opinion which may be wrong this will end up hardening your heart. You’ll always have a shield up and never allowing someone else to come into your life, even if they have different beliefs than you.
I believe this causes less love, and more dictation of their own mind, will, and ways rather than the ways of Jesus Christ who is suppose to be the King who we follow, and has stated we are to believe on the one whom he had sent, and love one another.
Not fight, bicker, moan, and groan just because someone doesn’t agree with say Calvinist or armainism or whatever the case it.
The more you have that shield up the less love you will have.
