I wouldn't. There are no cases in the Bible where Christians pray to a saint or anyone except to God. In fact, we are instructed to pray to the Father in Jesus' name. John 16:

26 In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; 27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God
Do you believe that Jesus came from God?

Do you believe that the Father himself loves you?

Do you believe that you can ask the Father yourself?

There is no need to pray to Mary, or some saints, or any dead people. Pray to the living God.

Philippians 4:

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
See also When you pray, say: FATHER.

I have a friend, an older guy who is a relatively-young Christian who lost his wife not too long ago. He can't stop talking to her at night in his prayers. He admits this. Probably not the same thing as praying to Mary or to the saints.

It doesn't help your prayers to talk to the saints, unless you actually see them in a vision. I've heard of that happening. The saints can't do better than Jesus, and we're told not to engage in necromancy--way too close to dabbling in the occult.

I was going to say, "No, we shouldn't pray to the saints." It occurs to me, though, that if we have something to say to someone who has died, we could ask God to pass the message along.
