Few people are ever really single. If you have ever been with anyone then you were not single. You may not be with someone now, but that isn't what singleness is. Once you have a sexual bond with someone, everything changes. You never go back to a true single life. A single person does not have sex until after marriage when they are united with their spouse. Singlehood is virginity, if you lost virginity, you lost singlehood and you have a connection to that person for the rest of your life. If you want to remain single, practice abstinence until marriage.
