Romans 6:18 (NASB)
and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

”slaves of righteousness”

Are we slaves of righteousness...... Do we want to be slaves of righteousness...... Do our hearts cry out after being made a slave of righteousness in all our endeavors?

Is doing righteousness in all we do, say, think, dream, hope, desire, that which our hearts are stayed on. Do our hearts cry after this holiness that is from God alone. Is there an increase towards this each and every day? This walking a little closer, a little more perfect, and little less sinful than yesterday? Is this what we find being manifested in our lives, us being made a;

“Slave of righteousness”

Does this desire to be a slave of righteousness, to be owned and dominated by the one who calls Himself the King of Righteousness. Is this that which our hearts cry after.

God loves righteousness and God loves us. If we want the blessing of God on all we do. It is very simple, do righteousness in all you do, and God will be in all you do.

Self will say;

“I know not righteousness”

Which is true, in it’s entirety, we know not righteousness. But to the degree we do see, know, and understand righteousness, it is to that degree we are accountable to walk in.

Hebrews 12:4 (NASB)

“You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;

Are we willing to shed our blood rather than sin.?

Are we willing to die rather than sin?

Are we willing to enter into death rather than sin?

Are we willing to enter into our deaths in Christ, by faith, rather than sin?

Blessed are those that are. For today they will walk closer to God than yesterday, and if they continue in this walk of faith, which we have all been called to, the following day, even closer still.

For walking close to, and getting to know this One who has called us to Himself, is our only hope of ever being made free from sin. And truly be;

A slave of righteousness

For when Jesus died, He took us to death with Him, that we might be made a slave of righteousness

Blessings to all that would be willing to be such a slave.

Much love in Christ, Not me
