smiling faces... lie

but remember that song from the 70s? Smiling faces... show no traces, of the evil that lurks within... Smiling faces.. they're lies..
It really bugs me when i see smiling faces on the news... regardless of what kind of awful news story the person is telling.. and it seem women do this more than men. Does the owner of the station tell women but not men to smile regardless?
sometimes it looks like the person is on dope..
not criticizing, just find it WEIRD... I mean, yeh, if your boss tells you to smile for the camera... you kinda tendto do that.. but it doesn't seem like they tell the male news people to do the same...
