In all my time in church, it seems that all I learned was that Christ died for my sins, but I know a lot more happend in that short time. So here is a chance to expand on waht was a precious moment for all.

The King laid down his life as the final sacrifice.
The King went to hell to tell all there what had happened.
The King took back his life.

To me that is worthy of me doing the same at his command.

Lev_16:2 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
Lev_16:12 And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
Lev_16:15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
Lev_21:23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

Now remember this was all for teh Israelites not for teh gentiles ,for teh gentiles there was go one to stand before God for them / us.

Mat 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
Heb 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Heb 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Do you not understand. That because of teh perfect sacrifice that Christ offered to our Father we, even us gentiles now can stand before God, even today for by His sacrifice and our faith we have being made perfect in teh eyes of our father. Where once because of our Sin that was laid upon our flesh to our destruction which kept us from God even now our father, now we in His grace have the right to eneter in where as before only teh High Priest with sacrifice and many washing and blood with smoke could stand.

And all you can say, is Jesus died for our sins. And still there is more.

In All His Love

Juergen Moltmann said Christian Faith that is not Resurrection Faith is neither Christian nor Faith.

Karl Barth said Christianity that not totally and unreservedly is eschatology [GE: that is, Resurrection Faith] totally and unreservedly has nothing to do with Jesus Christ.
