I object to the word inferior. find an other word.
Jesus is not the father, he is the Son. and the Son is the one who came to show us all the path. as he is Emmanuel.
The spirit has guided people through out the history of man but when his Son came that is when he was the light of the world. nobody comes to the Father but through the Son.
We have jokers that like to push the before Christ stuff and get off track.
Israel knew Christ was coming in the OT.

That would certainly be blasphemous and antiChrist.

Alright. He is a lower deity. If that does anything to ease your conscience!

Ouch. Well according to Scripture, there is ONE God, the Father. If Jesus ISN'T the Father, he ISN'T God.

1Co_8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Yep, exactly, and what did they do when Jesus came and declared it to them? They tried to kill him for blasphemy because he was claiming to be God! Could it be that he was God? All that God was?

Really? Show me where in the Scripture we find the title 'God the Son'. I haven't read such a thing yet. Tell me how the Son could be God when he died (Rom_5:8), when the Father knows more than him (Mar_13:32 ), when the Son learned (Heb_5:8), when the Son had a beginning (1Jn_4:9)? You can't!!!

I can explain it! The Son could die because it was humanity! Deity cannot die! Jesus knew all things as the Father, but as to his humanity, he didn't know some things, such as the second coming. Humanity must learn, deity knows everything. Humanity must have a beginning. Deity doesn't. The dual nature concept answers all these difficulties. Trinity doesn't.

    Let the reader take heed.

And so by that you have to be supporting the side of the stupid corrupt worldly so called Jews. and you would been one them who killed Jesus back then as you must be suporting it so even now.
No one comes to the Father but through the Son.
The Son came for us. read the story of the vineyard ?
Their is noting of God in them stupid so called Jews.
And their is only a blueprint in the OT, and Christ matches up with that story.

Jesus was ALWAYS God. That has never changed. God cannot change. Never!

    John 5:18 (NKJV)
18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

Only God is equal with God.

I'm a little confused. If Jesus is God, and Jesus is the Son of God, how could He not be God the Son?

Seems like a whole lot of punch! The only problem is that it's been thrown at an invisible person! I don't recall denying Christ's deity. I am defending Christ's deity! Of course we have to come to the Father through the Son, because it is by the Son that the Father bought us back!!! The ONLY reason we can come to the Father through the Son is because in that body of flesh resides the SPIRIT OF THE FATHER! The Father of Eternity!

Jesus Christ had two natures: man and God. When the Bible speaks of the Son, it is referring to his humanity, or his human nature. If you make Jesus JUST the Son, you will find that the Son is inferior to both the Father and the Holy Ghost. Just ask Guestman or Rockytopva! Such a view that Jesus is not God is unScriptural as you well know, but to make Jesus JUST the Son, is just as bad, though perhaps masked a little better. Why is it so hard to accept that Jesus is ALL that God is?

There was never a time when Jesus wasn't God, even in His flesh.

Correct. The Trinity doesn't accommodate such a view.

I don't recall any 'Trinitarians' saying that Jesus wasn't/isn't God.

They don't, but it doesn't take much logic to realise that if Jesus is ONLY the Son, that he is less than the Father and the HOly Ghost. A god who is not god over all is not god at all!

I truly do not understand. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all mentioned, all being God. Why wouldn't the Bible just say 'God' if there is no distinction between the Three?

    Isaiah 48:12-17 (NKJV)
12 "Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. 13 Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together. 14 "All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? The LORD loves him; He shall do His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm shall be against the Chaldeans. 15 I, even I, have spoken; Yes, I have called him, I have brought him, and his way will prosper. 16 "Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit Have sent Me." 17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

    Matthew 28:19 (NKJV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

It does. It mentions that there is One God many times! The reasons for distinction is this: when we speak of the Son, we speak of Jesus' humanity. When we speak of the Holy Ghost, we refer to the Spirit of God in the Believer.

Yes, the Son still exists! Pray about it, ask God to show you. Start out from the base, the Bible. The Bible declares that there is ONE God whose name is Jesus.

But the Father and Holy Spirit are God, and are referred to throughout the NT.

    1 John 2:22 (NKJV)
22 He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

The Father and Holy Spirit are just titles. Their name is Jesus, and they are exactly the same.

Joh_14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Isa_9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
