Who does the Bible say he was? The answer is The son of Perdition. And what did Judas do? He sided with the chief priests and elders in unbelief and turned Jesus over to the carnal rulers to be killed. I say carnal because they were all led by their flesh and HATED the Word and wanted him dead.
Those in the church who also side with the ungodly to war against and kill other Christians will also BETRAY the TRUE body of Christ being those who stick with the Word of Truth. THOSE who betray brethren into the hands of ungodly man are the body of the
son(s) of perdition. Any who call themselves believers, yet do not display the fruit of the Spirit and seek to harm those who bring the Truth to them and have become as one with other UNITED religions, accepting false teachings, wanting to hear the easy smooth things that allow them to live in sin as the rest of the ungodly and claiming that Jesus died for our sins so we don't have to worry about them any more we are forgiven, even will go so far as to take their complaints against the brethren to ungodly counsels. They are in spiritual fornication because they are SLEEPING with the enemy.
Jesus has a body with many member's on this earth and the opposing one is the body of Satan, being many MORE member's of his body and they do the work of their father the devil, being his hands, mouths, eyes, feet etc.... portraying the IMAGE OF THE BEAST/Carnal man in his lusts.
We see churches coming together with other religions to pray together and accept one another's religion as, IF they are NOT idolatry BUT THEY ARE. God is not going to put up with THAT!! And share His glory with man made religions?!!! I don't think so..
Just as they are going to hate and kill the two witnesses that bring the Word of God to assemble the True people of God, the Judas' of the counterfiet church are going to betray Christ... meaning his body of brethren.
