How does suffering really work in day to day living. In the world suffering is drawing people to Jesus. Have you ever met worldly folk that seem more religious than the religious. They can carry on a conversation about the Lord, they even seem to have a love for him. Some could possibly be right on the cusp of believing unto salvation. That is what suffering does, it turns people to God. No matter how you look at it suffering is in the world and no one is exempt.

In a believers day to day living it developes son's. Paul in his suffering prayed three times to be delivered from his suffering and the powerful words came "my grace is sufficient ." We have moments that we do get help in a time of need and are delivered from some particular situation. But most of the time you are going to go through the training ground of your Father. Your spiritual growth is more important than deliverance. We keep forgetting our Father knows exactly what He is doing.

That is why he gave you a gospel to go along with his training. You don't have to go through it like you don't know what's going on. You are going to go through "it" no matter what you know. If you believe you reach the plateau of spiritual growth where suffering does not come to you, you are buying the lie. The older you get in the lord the challenges will come even more often because you must live what you understand that is sonship. Nothing controls you but the life you live which is Christ.

Paul said it like this "they that preach the gospel must live by the gospel." If you have been in the lord 20 years and still blame the devil ol' slew foot for all your trouble, you have never got out of the first grade in the schoolhouse classroom. Nothing worse than being around those that should be taking up the torch, and their caught up in their own little fantasy world of religion, very bitter to the soul.

No one likes the training, the scriptures even says you will not like it. But it is necessary for your growth. You may be thinking, "I don't want to go through all this it's just not worth." But it is, as a believer begins what the scriptures call "yield peaceable fruit," it is as heaven and earth meeting. You get to taste heaven so to speak because you will not be moved, that is spiritual growth through the sufferings of this life.
