If you keep studying, eventually you're going to discover that the term 'Jew' is only a nickname for the "house of Judah", as it originated from the name Judah. The difference is when it began to be used per history, which the Jewish historian Josephus said was with the returning remnant of the house of Judah back to Jerusalem to build the walls and temple again.

Yet per God's Word, we know there were foreigners of the Canaanites (1 Kings 9:20-21) dwelling among Judah before their captivity, and also after that remnant's return to Jerusalem (Ezra 2 - Nethinim priests). That name Jew included Idumeans living amongst Judah and taking the name also. Compare that name Jew to a name like Brits. We know the original Britons (Bretons) were a specific Celtic people, but after a while the name Brit began to apply to any foreigner that lived among the original Brits, as it is today.

What does that say about true bloodline Judah and that name Jew? Apostle Paul was a Jew, because he was descended from the tribe of Benjamin that was joined with Judah and Levi at Jerusalem after God split Israel into two separate kingdoms. So yes, the Jews include also those of true bloodline Judah, even today. It's simply that those foreigners who crept in among Judah centuries ago have assumed themselves to be of Judah for so long, that they no longer know. Whereas not that many of true Judah, Benjamin, and Levi can find their ancient geneaology records to support their true Judah relationship either. But for the king lines, they have preserved their geneaological record. This was easily seen with the Land Of Israel And Temple Mount Faithful group of orthodox Jews in Jerusalem a few years ago. They are the main group of Jews preparing to rebuild the temple. They had to resort to DNA comparisons in order to select Levi priests for the coming temple. That reveals they hadn't faithfully kept their geneaological records like they wish we all would assume.
