I have found that a lot of people have believed that the Anti-Christ was all kind of people. But according to what I have studied it seems to me that the Anti-Christ will definately have to be a Jew if he is going to convince the Jewish people that he is the real Christ!What do you think?

Anti-christ teachings have been with us since Christ left and Paul and the apostles spoke about them. The man of sin however is a different thing.I have new ideas about that now. And I believe alot of people will be shocked.Faithful.
My pastor spoke on this in church this morning.Basically, he believes that the anti-christ will come out of the EU. And that the prophecies point to the middle east islamic countries as the opposers of Israel. (He actually has an extremely good argument for this). He said, "but how will the islamic countries who are so against Isreal agree to this treaty? If it was their islamic messiah signing on the dots, they'd have no trouble." He said that to say this: apparently in Muslim teaching, their islamic messiah will 1) appear towards the end of the world, and 2) reign for 7 years.strikingly similar to someone we know under another name in Christianity.I still don't know much about these prophecies, but it sounds pretty intense.

I use the book of Daniel, Revelation, and also apocryphal stories and other prophets such as Isaiah to verify my belief.Actually, he will at first appear pro-Jewish. This is how initially Israel (in her land) can feel secure and build the temple. In the middle of the tribulation, the "abomination of desolation" will take place where he desecrates the temple that Jesus warned about. This is where the two witnesses were already killed and taken to heaven as Antichrist turns particularly nasty the last half of this period. Those in Judea will flee, etc, etc that we read about.Since he is Assyrian, I can see how Islam relates to this mess. In apocryphal stories, Arabia is mentioned in end-time conflicts.

Actually, in Rev. Ch. 12 and 13, the dragon (which the devil is called) gives his power to the beast, who is the anti-Christ. So, technically, this could be a person who has sold his soul to the devil to do miraculous things, just like Christ's followers today can do miracles in His name. Or, it could be a demon power. I tend to think it is the former, but I don't know.

Not his action there we agree but his being Assyrian. I strongly believe the Assyrains will be on his side. And play a large part but do not believe Antichrist to be a human man.
