For those of you who continue to call the king of the north an antichrist.I would like you to consider a few things.
The armed forces of the king of the north enter Jerusalem without conflict.In fact the king of the north "flatters" Israelis according to Daniel.We know these armed forces remain stationed in Jerusalem for 42 months according to,Daniel.At the beggining of the occupation the daily sacrifice is abolished.The abomination of desolation is placed 42 months later.
Daniel 12:11 And from the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation set up, there will be 1,290 days.
Now according to Jesus,when the abominationof desolation is placed it will be a time of great tribulation unlike there has ever been.
Matthew 24:21 For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.
Daniel states at that time of great distress ,the resurrection takes place.
Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.
Now we compare these events to those in,revelations and we find the king of the norths armed forces not only is not the beast.they are killed by the beast.
Here we find the armed forces of the north occupying Jerusalem for 42 months in revelations.
Revelation 11:2 But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.
Revelation 11:3 And I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth."
Revelation 11:4 These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
Revelation 11:5 If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone who wants to harm them must be killed.
Revelation 11:6 These witnesses have power to shut the sky so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.
Now here is when the beast invades Jerusalem.
Revelation 11:7 When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them.
Revelation 11:8 Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city--figuratively called Sodom and Egypt--where their Lord was also crucified.
Revelation 11:9 For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb.
Revelation 11:10 And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them, and will celebrate and send each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.
Three days after the beast invades Jerusalem the resurection takes place.The same resurection that takes place when the abomination of desolation is used in Daniel.
Revelation 11:11 But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
So you see,the armed forces of the north occupies Jerusalem 42 months.Then they are attacked and killed by the beast three days prior to the resurection.
Who might be the beast who attacks the armed forces of the north in Jerusalem?
None other than,the king of the south.
Daniel 11:40 At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships, invading many countries and sweeping through them like a flood.
So the king of the north shall go,out to destroy all the countries who have come against Jerusalem.His armed forces will use the abomination of desolation in Jerusalem,to kill those (the beast)who have attcked his military stationed in,Jerusalem .
He will destroy nearly all of the middle east who have came to destroy his ally Israel .
Daniel 11:44 But news from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will go out with great fury to destroy many and devote them to destruction.
So you see.The armed forces of the north who peacefully enter Jerusalem and occupy it 42 months is not the beast who invades Jerusalem killing and raping and occupy Jerusalem a few days.
