If you can accept the proposition that the body is a possession, it is no small stretch for that body to be possessed by more than just you.

It is no coincidence that the second person singular and the second person plural are identical. If we stick with the proper politically correct nomenclature of demons, when one refers to themselves just who are they referring to? Logic seems to suggest the referent is the identity itself, but this is nothing more than an idea; an idea being associated with a body.

The problem is that ideas don't exist as anything other than ideas. Most would tend to agree that they are not ideas which leaves the body. Are you a body? If so, then it can't be yours due to the fact that WHO you are is not WHAT you are, or what you have. You can't be a body, and have your body at the same time. If you are a human being, you can't have a human having, or do a human doing.

You are conscious, but you are not consciousness due to the fact that pure consciousness cannot be conscious of anything. To say that it is yours is a contradiction.

Regardless of whether we know it or not; you are who you are, and I am who I am.
If you are who you are, then dare to articulate it.

If Popeye can do it without being condemned, so can you.
