17 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.

4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.

I have shared that earlier in the year I heard the Holy Spirit speak and I posted what instructions the Lord gave here on this forum.....one thing that kept rising up in my spirit is keep your eyes on Israel....for the prophesy concerning Damascus is soon coming to pass and I kept hearing September marks a time of sorrows.
When this prophesy is complete it will make way for the final prophesies to move into place.
This year Israel has attacked Syria and targeted Damascus nearly every month since January....The tensions between these two countries are escalating on a daily basis....
No city has been destroyed and rebuilt as many times as Damascus....but this destruction will be it's final end.....it will be a city no more....ever....never to be rebuilt again.

 

I didn't get that....do you want to explain? I feel as though it is after....like mid way or later in the month....what is significant about the 6th....your birthday? lol....just kidding.

 

Well if the beginning of sorrows has anything to do with Damascus then September. And I will tell you right now I am 100 percent against setting dates concerning prophesy but this one is so intense in my spirit. I have 2 others I have met who have had the same dreams about this same thing and the same timing....and we have never met in person.

 

Yes, I know and I am nervous.....I don't want to be guilty of false prophesying.....ugh....but if I miss it I will have to humble myself before all of you and admit I was wrong and apologize and ask for forgiveness.

 

I do know....but I am comforted in that even some prophets of the old testament missed it on occasion. I have to step out in faith and trust that I have heard from Him correctly......I have been in the wilderness for a long time and am just coming out of it....getting back into my calling. And this is a brutal way to test my calling.....on the internet full of strangers....ugh.

I promise to stay and let the chips fall where they may. Something I was sharing with someone here in a pm is that in the past God always used me to speak to individuals....this year He has been showing me things concerning worldly events so this is definitely a new area for me....(biting my nails, shaking in my boots, drinking heavily...water....lol).

 

In my curiosity I decided to go to your profile page and see if your birthday is posted...it was....you are lying somewhere....so which is it? I like a person with a sense of humor....but you are way to wise to be the age on your profile.....I am thinking your are more around your 50's. Yep...that isn't Holy Spirit inspired it is just my thinking...lol

David was talking with the prophet Nathan—the same prophet who later would rebuke him for committing adultery with Bathsheba and setting up the murder of her husband, Uriah the Hittite (2 Sam. 12). David was dismayed because God was dwelling inside tent curtains while he lived in a house of cedar (2 Sam. 7:2).

That's when Nathan spoke these words from his anointed mouth: "Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you" (2 Sam. 7:3). Although this wasn't a "thus saith the Lord" type of prophetic word, it was a word of approval from a trusted prophetic voice in David's life. David was looking for prophetic counsel about his plans to build a house for the Lord, seeking confirmation that it was in God's will. David seemed to receive that confirmation, but the Lord took steps to correct Nathan's pure-hearted mistake before the king got too far.

God sent Nathan back to David with a bona fide prophetic word that contradicted his friendly counsel to "do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you." The Lord did not want David to build him a house but rather committed to establishing David's throne forever (2 Sam. 7:4-17).
