Wednesday 5-13-20, Iyar 19 5780, 4th. day of the weekly cycle, 55th. Spring day
Day 34 of the Omer, Yesod of Hod: Bonding in Humility
Psalm One Thirty One:1-3, Psalm One Hundred Four:31
Psalm One Thirty One:1-3
A Song of degrees of David
1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. 2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. 3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
Psalm One Hundred Four:31
31The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
Humility should not be a lonely experience. It ought to result in deep bonding and commitment. There is no stronger bond than one that comes out of humility. Does my humility separate me from others or bring us closer? Does my humility produce results? Long term results? Does it create an everlasting foundation upon which I and others can rely and build.
Exercise for the day: Use your humility to build something lasting.
Love always, Walter and Debbie
