Thank you for sharing her story. I could relate to what she was saying, growing up heavily hell fire and brimstone southern Baptist …I also would have explained God as a male chauvinist tyrant that despised women. That is just my history. I get it’s not everyone’s. I could relate to her words of fearing but hating God. People might not like nor agree but I read some of the Quran because mostly I wanted to see what the voice is …to me it’s the same voice that I heard under hell fire and brimstone…a god after the flesh and always, always disappointed and full or wrath, never able to be pleased. I love what she said about Jesus Christ.

Seems she was very fortunate to have consulted with a fearless therapist, spot on recognizing her bankrupted Faith, and giving her a spot on challenge, to big picture, find what would Heal her…And her very fortunate realization…Christ the Lord Jesus…is exactly what is already available for her to reach out and take, what He had been waiting to give her.

Love this testimony. If only more people could come to the same realization and conclusion, that their despair, depression and hopelessness is their internal conflict between their Carnal Mind and Spiritual Heart.

That’s something to consider. My husband and I were talking about this yesterday…. Internal monologue. It is hard to overcome a destructive internal monologue (Imo). I love to think on how with God all things are possible.

Seems to me, every time I hear of someone having long bouts with depression, (and all the spin off medical names thereof), the root cause is a Carnal Mindedness in triumph and the Spiritual Heart in a dormant condition.
