1 John 2:4 (NKJV)
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a truth being put forth here that connects two things… Knowing Him and the keeping of His commandments…. This is scripture, so this truth that is being put forth, would be of immeasurable value to those that would want to know Him, seeing how it states this as being the proof of that knowing…
How and why is this so?
It is because God is found in the good proper and right, or in other words, righteousness, which His commandments are the expression of…. Seeing, that because God is found in the good proper and right and in no where else, only those that walk in the good proper and right can be said to know Him… One can know about Him, but scripture says they can not be said to know Him, without this walking in the keeping of His commandments…
This keeping of His commandments is said to be the fruit of the knowing Him, not the cause of the knowing Him, being the end result, the proof that one does…. For as one listens to His inner promptings towards righteousness, does one discover, that in these promptings will He be found…
For it is to the degree of the keeping of these promptings can it be said, that one knows God… For the knowing of God is to walk as He walks, which is walking in the good proper and right… For as one does get to know God their behavior changes to the end result of one being like Him, which is, this keeping of the commandments of God… For God would have His children with Him, where His lives, and that is in the good proper and right…
Be blessed all in the experiencing of the good proper and right…
