To be merciful.

Mic 6:8

8 He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?

To do justly, to be merciful, to walk in humility before God.

Mic 7:18
8 Who is a God like You,
Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?

He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy.

Matt 9:12-13

12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

The above is a reference to Hos 6:6.

Rom 9:22-24

22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Gal 5:22-24

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The child of God “”WILL”” demonstrate love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. --- These are the works that God approves of. They will not have to be prodded by the self-righteous to do them. The child of God is a vessel of mercy. See Rom 9:22-24

All of these things are an attitude in the heart.

Love that quote and find it challenging. To do that which is right and just in a commercial world can be hard.
To give honest and accurate advice about products and service while also selling what one is employed to sell, means treading a very fine line.

To love mercy, among critical and judgemental Christians oh how this is difficult.

Walking humble before God, when one knows what he has done and someything of what one owes him that is by comparison is easy.
