The gospel of John was about Jesus incarnate but give to us in a carnal way. John was a disciple of Jesus and walked with Jesus but when they took Jesus to the cross John was the only one to make it. So now, John made it and then his book of revelations are written in the Spirit. God or his angel doesn't pour a vile out and thousands or all become dead. The vile is what has to happen to the church spiritually and did.
For example, in heaven there is a river and that is the street and on both sides are the tree of life baring 12 types of fruit. God is a fountain of living waters, The disciples are the trees and the fruit is the fruit of THEIR knowledge about God. So when we see what was happening Spiritually we see what is happening to us in the flesh or carnally.
King David brought the Spiritual Teachings down and wrote them or explained them in the flesh so the Temple was made in the flesh and then the temple of God was with man. That's why the book of psalms is also in the new testament.
I don't, know if people realize how important this is. If we want the New Jerusalem, we have to Raise up the earthly form and bring down the Spiritual to be given us anew.I mean all this in the scriptures.

Jesus has already come from Heaven and having achieved All he set out to do, having finished the work of salvation he returned to heaven and one day will return to judge all people.

There is no need for us to raise up or bring down anything.

There is a need for us to show our Love for Jesus by our obedience to him.

This is just spiritual nonsense.

We need to distinguish between metaphors and non-metaphors within the Bible.
So you think a man on a black horse came out and killed all men?
The rider on the black horse in Revelation 6:5,6 symbolically represents conditions of extreme famine on earth. Famines are also mentioned in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24 etc).
Do you think the return of Jesus is physical and you look up into the clouds and you will see him.
On the other hand Christ riding on a white horse is literal (Rev 19) but
surrounded with "the clouds of Heaven" is a metaphor for the saints and angels which surround Him at His Second Coming (Rev 1:7). They give the appearance of white shining clouds. And indeed all the inhabitants of the world will see Him and weep and mourn because of the judgment that will come upon them.

If a man says here he is or there, do not believe it because he is revealed by the wisdom and understanding given by the Holy Spirit. Not wisdom as this world has but wisdom as the Angels of heaven have. The understanding of the higher righteousness. The white means pure in heart and made clean in their minds.
