Galatians 5
22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The fruit of the Spirit . . . the results of the Holy Spirit living in you.
You become as He is. We are all being conformed to the image of Christ, by the Spirit of Christ in us.
And so what we are being made into tells us about the One to Whom we are being conformed.
The Holy Spirit loves you. The Holy Spirit rejoices over you. The Holy Spirit is at peace with you. The Holy Spirit is patient with you. The Holy Spirit is gentle towards you. The Holy Spirit is good to you. The Holy Spirit is ever faithful to you. The Holy Spirit is meek . . . not overwhelming us with His power. The Holy Spirit is self controlled, that is, He is holy. He will always be according to Who He is. God is love. The Spirit of Christ within you loves you!
