The Holyspirit Of God

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. - John 14:20.

"At that day" we have so passionately talked about, what was happening "at that day." God by his grace was going to pour out of His Spirit on mankind the Holyspirit of God. Apart from Christ living in you that may be the most meaningful part to grace. Because without it you cannot know Christ and man would surely never know Christ lived in human beings. Isn't that powerful of the father to go to such extremes to bring about something so foreign to man and trust the human being to understand by the Holyspirit.

We take that for granted, at least I know I have. Somehow we can glean over scripture and jump up and down declaring I got it I got it. But what is his purpose for coming into this world? To talk about Jesus. He is the one telling you about Jesus, telling you he is your life he is the one you live by there is no other life. That is the main ministry of the Holyspirit to bring a sinner to Christ and reveal Christ in believers. He can do anything but that is his main purpose of being poured out on all flesh, hallelujah!

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. - John 14:16-17.

I have to be honest I didn't always know that and so I used the Holyspirit for other things at least I thought I did. But thank God that came from ignorance and not a blatant out and out abuse. The thing about a lack of knowledge is; it stays like that until you gain knowledge in a area. The things of God are the same way. So the easiest way to be taught by the Holyspirit that I have learned is just relax. Don't be so uptight and ready to go to fist city for every little thing that offends your doctrine because I can assure you there is only one that knows and it's not you and it sure is not me.

We need to be filled with the Holyspirit. Paul said we should be filled daily because if my mind is filled with the Holyspirit you have alot less room for all the nonsense.

In this book set before us, the bible, there are three ways to live; by law, by the kingdom rule, or by grace. There is no other living, there is no other life. The only way to be what God made you to be is by Christ in you. I have known people through the years that have thought there may be another way of living life but there isn't. It's plain, it's simple, it gets to the point yery quickly and can be followed as Paul beckons it's readers to do. Bless you.

There will come a day and you will know, who you are, who I am, and how we got here.

The proof is in the knowing.

Who is the Holy Spirit? What is his purpose?

Where does wisdom and knowledge and truth reside?
Where is it's beginnings?

Phl 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Phl 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Phl 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Phl 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

These are mindful things. They are from the mind of God which the Holy Spirit is.
And the Holy Spirit, the mind of God comes and reasons together with our minds and witnesses himself to us that he is from God.
It is through the mind of Christ that this knowing is imparted to us.
It is through His mind, his knowledge, his wisdom, his truth, that we come to know him.

It is a gift. It gives us comfort. It put's our minds at ease. It is the one which if we allow, will carry our burdens.
Our worries, our anxiety, our forgetfulness.. mindful things.
It is the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things about himself.
And we are told to have this mind, the very mind of Christ in us.

Your thoughts are not my thoughts,
Your ways are not my ways.

Only His Spirit can cleanse our minds.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Where does sin have it's origen?
First you think it.. and then you act on it.
Only God's thoughts are pure.
our thoughts are like dirty rags.

Matthew Chapter 5. Jesus is talking about Ye have heard it said, but I say.. He is talking about the ten commandments.
Thou shalt not murder, commit adultery, bear false witness, coveting...
Only God could keep them. He created them to be followed with the heart and with the mind.
Israel walked by sight not by faith. They kept the law with a heart of stone and minds of steel.

Thank you for your good comments. Those moments when we see something it's like it has always been there and the light comes on. When the Holyspirit is revealing scripture to you and you just have to sit back and take it in because you know it was always there but something happens a new light shines on it. It feeds that deep hunger to know Christ in us and the father who birthed us by Christ in us.

Thank you for your good comments. Those moments when we see something it's like it has always been there and the light comes on. When the Holyspirit is revealing scripture to you and you just have to sit back and take it in because you know it was always there but something happens a new light shines on it. It feeds that deep hunger to know Christ in us and the father who birthed us by Christ in us.

I think that's like when Paul is talking about the difference between the milk and the meat.
Somethings we have to grow into, other things we have to hear them over and over before they make sense.
And think of all the people who are all different ages In Christ.
Some just coming to him, others still taking their first steps. Some are crawling real slow, and others are so excited they run so fast,
but their little legs can't keep up.. poomph.. they fall down and try again.
Others just coming into realizing who they are and what they want, not knowing really what they need.
Others a bit mature and willing to sit and listen and contemplate.
It takes a long time to really be ready for the meat.
Some is so tough and hard to digest and some is tender and can cut it with a fork.
But each one coming at the pace God sets for them. We can't walk thier walk or try to show them something the Holy Spirit isn't ready for them to know. But because we think we know it, then we think they should know what we know.
Sometimes we don't even know what we think we know and still try to teach others.. lol
What a journey.. What an Adventure!
Patience is a Virtue..
