It is the HolySpirit that brings you to knowledge. The HolySpirit is the teacher in the Godhead and revealer of Christ in you. The HolySpirit is action, he is the doer of the scriptures. If you notice the scriptures, Christ always just is, done deal, complete and finished. But it is the HolySpirit that is always doing something, he will be leading you, or drawing you, or teaching you. He is the doer of the Godhead bodily. We live in a world where the HolySpirit has been misused and not understood as to what he does in a believers life. At least his main ministry in a believers life. Jesus told us in scripture that you could get away with alot of things, but do not misuse the HolySpirit, why? I believe it is for that cause, the cause of the HolySpirit being the action and revealer of Christ as the life of the believer. Without the HolySpirit teaching you Christ you will never know him as your only life.Though he is the one that is moving and working he is likened to a dove in scripture, and we need to be respectful of the way he works in the life of a believer.
I have been around both extremes of the use of or lack of the use of the HolySpirit. There have been claims of no Spirit and the other side is off their rocker. And then those that claim it is the Spirit that has caused them to do unbelievable fleshly acts of trying to work up some kind of spiritual event that can be seen by the world. Both are extreme opposites, but the sad note is both extremes miss what it is the HolySpirit is really trying do in a believers life. No wonder we were given warning, the ignorance that comes from mishandling the HolySpirit is beyond words.

In these chapters, Jesus himself tells us what the HolySpirit will do when he comes into the earth and in man. They are the keystone scriptures for your understanding of how the HolySpirit is going to work to get the believer to see Christ as life. It really is that simple, but a world away when the HolySpirit is misused. If you follow the scriptures in John chapters 14-16, you will nolonger be able to say "our doctrine is right follow us." You should be able to confess your mess and move on in God with the HolySpirit as your teacher.
