The Leaven and the Parable of the Wedding
"It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened." Luke 13: 21
Leaven is false doctrine, which is also another Gospel and another Jesus. It is not, as some preachers and others say now, a good thing. Leaven gradually changes the Body of Christ - Israel which is reborn in Christ - into Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots. Revelation 18: 4 says "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Isaiah 48: 20 says "Go ye forth out of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans..."
The leavening of God's inheritance, which became Israel reborn in Christ, in the modern time period, went on for some time before the majority of that Israel fell away from the truth of Christ and from his Gospel. "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." II Thesslonians 2: 3-4 "
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread." Matthew 16:6-7 The modern day Pharisees have leavened the denominations, and some of them say leaven is good because it is like putting yeast or baking powder in bread dough; it makes the "church" grow in numbers.
Since Paul teaches in I Corinthians 3: 16 and in I Corinthians 6: 19 that believers are the temple of God and our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, the "man of sin," which is an expression for many false prophets, sits in, or takes over, the minds and hearts of the believers, when the falling away has occurred.
The falling away is a falling from the truth which is Christ (John 14: 6) into another Gospel and another Christ (II Corinthians 11: 4, Galatians 1: 6).
Then, in Matthew 22: 8-13 Christ tells the parable of the wedding. "Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests."
"Bidden" is one of those old English words which is not that hard to understand from the context. It means those who were invited to the wedding were not worthy to be there at the wedding of Christ with his people.
"And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12.And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13.Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." The man who did not have on the right wedding garment represents he who tries to enter into heaven, or the Kingdom of God, through a man-made Gospel, or through a Gospel which is partly man-made and has been leavened so its not the Gospel of Christ. Only those who have on the right wedding garment, which is given to them by Christ, can enter into the wedding. Those who put on their own garment, i.e. their own man-made theology or Gospel, are not allowed in.
"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26. Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." Luke 13: 24-27
Those who have another Gospel, another spirit and another Jesus (II Corinthians 11: 4) are following the broad way, rather that the narrow way. He doesn't know them where they are in their doctrine, as his own, not where they live on earth.
