The problem with this article is that it believes Christmas is actually on a pagan holiday 25th of Dec. And that the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is on 21st Dec. I would look in the Spring for that actual 'star' or planet(s) conjunctions, when the shepherds were caring for their weeks old lambs.
I'd like to live to be 100. See how this world turns out from the earliest time I could remember unto the last moments of building memories.Yeah we'll probably all be in Heaven by then lol
You're as young as you feel. :)Never mind I would only be about seventy I think. XD
Oh I came across this on Facebook, apparently it's a one in 800 year event.
This shall be interesting, hopefully there are clear skies on the 21st of December.
You're as young as you feel. :)

Yeah that's why I thought that all of us would be long gone from the planet by then. XD And I live by a lot of trees but during the wintertime they won't have any leaves so it might be easier to see. :)
I know. :) I was giving you a funny to look forward to. ;) You won't be old, you'll be crispy. Thanks and *Hugs back* but I meant that I would be seventy in 2060 if I did my math right. XD
Awesome! Do you also have a telescope? :)Well where I live Jupiter and Saturn have been positioned in a spot during clear nights this year, that could be seen from our front yard.
And we have mountains and plenty of trees.

Yes, I think I heard that before somewhere.Yes tilting your head back to look at the night sky can be a lot of fun.![]()
Do you have an auto-tracking telescope?Yes I do, but it only really works for the moon. As I find it just about impossible to get Jupiter and Saturn aligned with the telescope and in focus with my telescope, probably due to the distance away, but with a better telescope and more skill haha, you would definitely be able to.
It may be easier to find on the 21st though, because it will be much brighter, so I guess I will try again
