Ephesians 1:1-3
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

At one time the born again were separated from God by their nature.
" who were dead in trespasses and sins"

You know it was not sins that separated you from God, it wasn't trespasses that separated you from God.
It was that one sin of Adam that caused man to be separated from God.
It was the death you recieved from Adam that separated you from God.
It was not the life God had intended for humanity, but it was a spirit-life regardless, death life had began.

And this new spirit-death-life is what mankind has been plagued with from the beginning.
Man through the centuries has tried to quiet the ills of this death.
Laws of the lands have been written, with rules instituted for living a kind of productive life.
Nations founded to try to live at peace, all to no avail.
God Himself having given commandments and laws to keep fallen man from destroying itself.
All the while knowing it would take a new life all together to bring a certain people together, Romans 16:25

25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

God Himself held the secret to putting mankind back on course to his original plan, Ephesians 1:4
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

You see our Gospel doesn't start with a fall in a garden, or even with an angel being thrown out of heaven, or even with the cross, our Gospel starts before the foundation of the world.
Before anything was created God had hid in Himself that He would be a Father to those that He would create, by taking a part of Himself, Christ, and placing His creation in Christ one day. Everything that has happened since creation, is God working his purpose into all of creation to bring about this glorious Plan before the foundations of the world.

No-Man knew that God was going to birth His own children, other than Jesus when He walked this Earth. It was not revealed in the Old Testament.
It was not prophesied, prophets did not speak about it, no one knew according to our scripture that God was going to bring about a people with His life and nature, to be called His children.
We find where there is a coming Messiah, you can find where there will be a virgin birth, and government's shall be upon his shoulders, and there will be a cross, but no where will you find where God spoke this mystery of Christ in you anywhere in the Old Testament.
And this mystery according to the scriptures has been given to you and I to give to a lost world that lives a life of death and separation from God who created them in his very own image and likeness, Ephesians 3:2-5
2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Another thought; when Nicodemus came to Jesus and began to question him, in John 3:3.
Jesus began to talk about God birthing His own children for the first time that we have recorded in Scripture.
Up until this time man had walked with God, talked with God and known him as creator.
Adam being created a living soul with the mind to be able to name the animals and creatures that were created as well goes beyond belief.
The stories that are written of those that trusted and obeyed God, a great sea dividing for a people to make their escape.
The stories go on and on, the successes and the failures of mankind and their relationship to God Almighty their creator.
But now on the wind driven dunes Jesus would speak about the mystery that has been hidden in God from before the foundations of the world.
To this one man he would speak once again like no other man had ever spoken.
But it was not to be, as fast as the subject came up Jesus dropped the subject.
There was no Holy Spirit revelation for this new knowledge that was to be so profound not even Nicodemus who was educated, and had enough insight to even go to Jesus and question him, could not understand what Jesus was saying.
Jesus new that the hour was coming where the Holy Spirit was to be poured out upon All Flesh that man in his minut understanding could have this revelation of the mystery revealed in them, Col. 1:26-27
26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

If that was all we would all be Christians, you forget that Adam's nature was changed by his rebellion and we have inherited that same nature that causes us to rebell against God.

it wasn't a secret and Jesus gave Nicodemus some grief that he didn't understand what Jesus was talking about as though he should, being a leader of the Israelites.

its been understood by those who did walk with the Lord their God that the faith is that they would be restored to the Life originally had, and lost, in the garden.

Luk 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Enoch, Noah Abraham David and many others knew this is what it was all about. that the coming Christ, the promised Messiah was to restore them, the faithful, to the Life God originally gave Adam. hence the promise of the resurrection unto everlasting Life in the Presence of their God.

Get it right it's confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. R 10v9.

And that belief is not just an intellectual assent but a firm conviction that leads one to radicly change the way one lives.

Do you care to explain what it does mean to be born again?

Being created a living soul, I dont see Adam receiving a spirit-nature until he fell, Gen. 3:15
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

We know that life is in the seed, life, spirit, nature, death-life.

Adam was not a birthed son, he was created a living soul, in the image and likeness of God. Sons have to be birthed not created, Lucifer was referred to as the son of the morning but he was not a birthed son.
It was simply a title given to him, a term applied to his Beauty and Majesty but not in the sense of a bona fide offspring of God with His nature he would have never rebelled against the Father.
Adam did not have the nature of God, he did not have a nature period, until he received a nature when he fell.

many will cry Lord, Lord
many will be deceived
even the elect, if that were possible

Nehushtan was 'broken up'
see, but that does not mean that ppl do not still talk Jesus and worship Nehushtan

Being decieved implies first having had true knowledge or a true relationship.
Christianity is not just words, it is also a voluntary lifestyle

Ok would a son of God have their Fathers nature? As we do today.
Such as Adam, did he override his nature, where does all that fit into the ultimate plan of God, Eph 1:4
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Why not just create more sons if that were the case.

This mystery you speak of was never hidden! It was hidden to Ancient Israel because they thought they were the only nation that was chosen to become saved. But Israel was devastated when God turned His attention to the Gentiles because of their constant spiritual fornication, and sought other gods.

The commentary to this mystery of Col. 1:26-27 can be found in Genesis 17. There you will find God’s promise to Abraham to be the father of many nations.

And…

Hebrews 2:16-17

And...

Galatians 3:16, 19

And…

Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

i would call that a profession, but regardless, whether one can accept Christ with their mouths is really not even debatable imo
bb
Confess could also mean to speak it out.
To proclaim
To confess...

confess
kənˈfɛs/
verb
  1. admit that one has committed a crime or done something wrong.
"he confessed that he had attacked the old man"
sinonimi: admit, acknowledge, reveal, make known, disclose, divulge, make public, avow, declare, blurt out, profess, own up to, tell all about, bring into the open, bring to light; Altro

    • acknowledge something reluctantly, typically because one feels slightly ashamed or embarrassed.
"I must confess that I half believed you"
sinonimi: acknowledge, admit, concede, grant, allow, own, say, declare, affirm, accept, recognize, be aware of/that, realize, be conscious of/that
      "I confess I don't know"
    • declare (one's religious faith).
"150 people confessed faith in Christ"

We tend to associate the word to confession of sins.

All Adam recieved when he 'fell' was a loss. A loss of a relationship with God, A loss of a place in Eden, and a loss of peace.
Adam lost His relationship with God
With others (Eve -- hardship in life)
With himself (he hid from God - shame)
With nature (nature became an adversary)
He lost eternal life (literally) I should say immortality.

He lost everything God had gifted to him.
Known as preternatural gifts.
