A quick video that speaks of the age to come. Commentaries are welcome.

Okay, so "now" Christians walk in the Light "as He is in the light" yes, as it should be. And, Later, the whole world, or all people, Nations will also be walking in the light of His countenance later on just because they did/do some good things? Without repenting, baptism, conversion? I hear what you are saying and most folks I have known over time, that are/were unsaved, are some of the most kind, thoughtful, generous, longsuffering, patient people I've ever known, and this through their own natural steam. Yet, they did not acknowledge Jesus as being their savior.
All I need to know is that God is just, so...He can will and does do what pleases Him. Kind of like Rahab hiding the spies, was righteous in God's eyes. She converted to Judaism and God was pleased with her.
I just cannot stop believing people need to call on the NAME of Jesus to be saved. Perhaps other faiths He will have mercy on, hard to say really. All I KNOW is Jesus is the ONLY way to The Father who is IN heaven....
Hugs!

Since we will be judged by our works and not our religious or spiritual understanding...the upright will be saved because Jesus died for them. They will be limited to being in the nations UNLESS they move into the redemption of the soul through the Spirit. And then again many who are thus redeemed will fail the grace given to them and be rejected into outer darkness. And that is because they unregenerate walk in a much better way than they do. So then the goodness of non-believers condemns us who believe...unless we repent, become merciful, become humble...and act with honesty and uprightness...loving others as ourselves.

Can we see others who are not born again being the same as ourselves? Too many think they are in a different category and can judge them now. Too many see themselves as being superior to the unsaved.

If people do they will be saved...but the bible doesn't say that anyone who doesn't call on the name of the Lord will be cast into the lake of fire. That is a churchy myth...to get more people in the pews...more money...etc

Right now yes...we have a direct access to God through Christ. But we will not be judged by having that access but against it.

To whom much is given, more is required.

Too many believe that now that they are believers that God will go easy on them...as in...to who much is given LESS is required.

Oh my brother, I know God will not at all go easy on us who 'know", yet still sins. I do not expect many rewards. But I so hope and pray that I will have SOMETHING to present to Him, casting a crown at His feet is important to me.
Trying hard to remove wrong emotions, it is a struggle every day. Cannot go by them anyhow as God is NOT a "feeling" but truth.

And, how exactly does one reach "the redemption of the soul through the Spirit..."?
Of course, you have explained this before Epi but I do not recall.
Splain again please? Dumb it down, lol.

Abel was a man who recognized God's sovereignty over all things, including his own life. He made sacrifice to God, and God received it. That's the key. God has to accept our surrender and take us further down the road, so to speak. He judges the heart. If we are truly humble and broken, He hears us....and responds in some way. A full surrender means a full entrance into the spiritual realm of the kingdom...a translation into the kingdom walk.

Anything less than that...we need to watch and pray...and not allow ourselves to get smug or arrogant. Either way, God gives grace to the humble.

Then there's Cornelius the centurion. He had respect unto God and His servants. He didn't know that Jesus was God's Son...just that He was a man under God's direct authority. That takes faith to see that. It takes faith to discern God's will...what God is doing. When we pay attention...watch and pray...we get closer to knowing God and His ways.

I'm both a rapture man AND an incrementalist. But we can be always learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. It's best to start with the idea that we can do ALL things through Christ. Enough of the limiting God to us being sinful all our lives.
