Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. There has been much speculation about just who this harlot is. For the western world from Luther till now it has been speculated that it is the Vatican, Pope, Roman Catholic Church.It cannot be the Catholic Church (CC) because today they are not persecuting Jews and Christians and have openly asked forgiveness for persecutions of times past. Further, the preferred method of death of saints in the book of Revelations is beheading. This method was not practiced by the CC, but rather burning.. The Vatican is not built on seven hills, only one which is named Vatican Hill, which is NOT one of the seven hills ancient Rome was built on. There are seven hills in Mecca, and even Sanfrancisco. My next post will be about the seven hills, which will show what is truely meant by hills and it is not what you may think.Yes scarlet color and the gold cup of wine are used in the CC, but purple and red are not the dominate colors of the CC. Can you say OIL????????????????????????????????????????Mecca and Medina are better candidates for the harlot that the CC. Saudi Arabia is mentioned in the Bible in the last days for destruction several times. Rome is not mentioned in the context of destruction even once. There are European countries mentioned in the Bible, but none in the context of destruction.Lets talk about beheadings. As you most likely know, there have been several high profile beheadings over the last few years by Islamics, such as Nicholas Berg, a Jewish contractor and Kim-Sun-il a Korean christian and translator. My dad worked in Saudi Arabia for 12 years. He told me that after Friday prayers, you could witness beheadings and lashings and hands getting cut off outside the mosques. Saudi Arabia and a few other Muslim countries, now just about weekly you hear of foreigners and Christians being beheaded by Islamic radicals.Isaiah 21 confirms the destruction of Saudi Arabia verse 1 "The burden of the desert of the sea" is Saudi.The Harlot is a religious system that is blasphemous. Islam came into this world in an attempt to correct Christians about Jesus Christ and the trinity etc. Islam denies the sonship of Christ. Denies the trinity. On the dome of the rock mosque are the words that God has no son, he neither begats nor is begotton.The wine is the oil that the merchants of this world have grown rich.Saudi exports Islam. Saudi has poured billions of dollars into creating Islamic public schools all over the world that export their wahabism version of Islam. That is a Jihad version. This includes right here in America. Saudi has funded several public schools here. The primary focus of these is to deny or blaspheme Christianity, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost and export Sharia law. Saudi is the forefront of the move to export Islam.Saudi wields influence over the Kings of the earth. 25% of oil exports from Saudi. Last week President Bush went to Saudi. He asked that the Saudis start pumping more oil and getting more on the market to lower price per barrel. He was told NO!There is no persecution in Rome today. In Saudi, if a Muslim converts to Christanity, that person will be given a chance to recant, and than off comes the head if they do not embrace Islam.There are many other reasons Saudi matches the harlot which I may list at a later time, but this should suffice for now. I could write a book though on why the harlot is Saudi.
