"Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring. [sup]21[/sup] Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet. "--NIV version

When I read this text of scripture my soul immediately leaped with in me! I was amazed and excited that a dead man when he touched Elisha's bones was brought baack to life! The prophet Elisha is one of my favorite prophets in the Bible because he lived out his calling form a young age, styed beside and was devouted to his master till the point of Elijah his masters departure, Elisha's faith and belief in the God of his salvation, Elisha's life foretold of Jesus's life and the mantle and anointing that God YHWH placed on Elisha's life! God began to deal with me on this text and began to say that the reson for this dead man was to transport the anointing that God placed on Elisha's life unto someone else. That there was no one living that he could find to place the mantle of Elisha upon since Gehazon had fallen long before. So then came these Israelites coming to bury a man but in fear of the Moabite raiders threw the body in a random tomb which turned out to be Elisha's tomb. When the corpse touched the bones of Elisha life and power came into the man. At that moment I wanted to shout and run up and dwon my room. But God began to speak to me some more and said that sometimes we have to die and enter into our graves and search through bones and our ashes until we find our life and find the anointing and mantle He placed on our lives! And once we find that mantle and new life we have to get out of our graves and began to do the work. We do not know anything else about the man who was brought back to life but I dare to infer that God began to deal with the man and moved the man into his will and plan for his life. I believe that after the man had that kind of encounter and found out that the tomb he was thrown in was that of the prophet Elisha he came unto the knowledge that he had an transferance of a prophetic anointing and that the Spiritual mantle that was upon Elijah and Elisha was now upon him. That is what I received form the text. This portion of scripture is profound and a blessing form God! I believe that the Holy Spirit wants to move us into those ministries and mantles that God has ordained for our lives. Where there is not only a revelation coming from the pulpit and the clergy collar but that the saints of God begin to recognize their kingdom authority (exousia0 and walk in it! But some of us will have to die spiritualy and search through our bones until we find out what that anointing and life is and until we accept it!
