I was thinking of the rebellion of Lucifer and our alleged free will as God’s creations and I have had the revelation that God is a cruel game master and selfishly sets Lucifer and the human race as his pawns for his own egotistical and sadistic nature.

In the beginning, God created everything, the heavens and the earth, however this was not enough for him as he too created beings whose sole purpose were to praise him and hail his glory. This alone sets the tone of this session.

God boasts his benevolence by giving his Archangels free will, the ability to worship or defy him. This begs to question “why?”. Why would a Loving God intentionally plant the seed of doubt or distrust in the hearts of his own creations if not for the purpose to see them suffer? God, in his own arrogance and selfishness, demands the constant praise and worship of Archangels as well as the rest of the court of Heaven and in his cruelty places unrest in the heart and mind of Lucifer. Without God there is nothing. Without God’s will, there would be no seed of doubt, if God’s Will were to be pure and kind, his creations would love him mindlessly. It would be a mindless existence, but it would be a pure one. An existence of only love and admiration of God. But God is not loving, he is a cruel and vengeful God who gives the “gift” of free will and then condemns those who use it.

The creation of Adam and Eve is a further look into the madness of God. To create a single being in the Garden of Eden and to make him long and pine for a partner, someone to be his companion… What is the purpose of this if not to make his creation suffer? God knows all, God knows that Lucifer will tempt Eve and she will tempt Adam. God is all knowing yet he still creates the human race and watches the downfall from the glory of God. The glory that he wishes to be maintained yet he allows and wills to be tarnished. God is cold and cruel in this. A sadistic puppeteer holding the human race on strings of gut and blood, knowing our frailty in his hands he still creates disease and famine.

Lucifer is said to have intimate knowledge of God, what could be so horrible that it causes him to mistrust his own creator? The fact that without God there is nothing, no happiness, no hate, no sickness or death, and no light of life. And perhaps worst of all, the very fact that we are born into Sin. We do not fall from his grace and glory through our own actions, he purposefully sets us away from him at birth. The cruelty of damning innocent stillborn babies to Hell because of our existence on Earth.

All of these things stem from God. All of these things are used to bring glory to God or to punish those who question his will. Lucifer must have seen this in the eyes and heart of God. He must have known the cruelty of God when all others chose to ignore it. Lucifer is the Fallen Angel, cast out of Heaven for his sight, cast out of Heaven for the sight that God gave him. We too are cast from God’s glory, a fact that God, if he does in fact exist, would have known would happen.

For God to know all and still allow this, he is not a loving god, or a kind god, he is a purely vengeful and sick god who takes joy in the suffering of his creations. Watching his lab mice panic and suffer to chew their own limbs off to free themselves of the traps he has set in place for them, traps that he controls, and existence that he controls.. This is god’s sight, this is god’s will. Does this make god feel happy? Perhaps not, but it certainly makes him feel powerful.

After reading this post...it is very obvious to me that you are totally anti-God.
Therefore you lied when selecting " Christian" as your religious belief.
Why did you not select " Other Religion" like the honest people do.

Maybe you should not base your opinion on God on fanciful books such as “Paradise Lost” etc.. The Bible (which doesn’t know an Archangel called Lucifer) would be a better starting point. And if you take that to be too gruesome in spite of the NT giving us hints how to understand the OT, maybe just start with a very basic pondering of “the moral law within and the starry heavens above”: How come you’ve got an understanding of good and evil in the first place, and where does this wonderfully beautiful universe of ours come from?

Someone once told me: you can't be angry at God unless you acknowledge first, there is a God. You are offended by Him. I have been there myself. Ask God. Yell, cry, confess what you believe as truth. He is the only one that knows how you came to this opinion of Him. You wouldn't be here on a christian site unless you either want to be proved right, or proved wrong.

I hope you stay around.

While there were a few lines I could have chosen in my reply, I chose that one, because you say these things from pure ignorance and lack of understanding......Bit like trying to listen to a 3 year old explain the intricacies of the financial markets of the world, and then some......Seek Him for the answers, He is well able to give them...

You've completely mischaracterize God to fit your own opinion, which draws conclusions that aren't true. God does not sow seeds of doubt, we manage that all on our own. God is righteous and merciful, but we still don't love him. And who wants a mindless existence? A mindless existence is no more capable of love than a rock. Free will provides us choices, condemnation only applies to those who freely choose to reject God.

You have masterfully described the god you don't believe in...does it surprise you that no-one else believes in that god either?

elle, hi, with respect ...there is a lot more to understand about this Creator God...one is:
Do you believe every metaphor or fantastic story told by
primitive men to be the absolute truth?
You have a critical mind...find out about this 'God' for yourself, up-close and personal...then,
come back and tell me you found 'Him' to be anything other than full of just Pure Love.
Will others here dislike this challenge...you betcha, they will.

Free will is not an evil thing. The sparrow does what it wants and is not evil for it. That is because it does what it was created to do. It doesn't desire anything else.
