1 Corinthians 1:30,
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
How are these things made unto us? How is it that God made unto us all these things? Well we can see it is by Christ but how is it that we can live by these things that are made unto believers? They happen by the seed that is in you, the nature, because nature is in the seed. You can trace the seed all the way back to, Genesis 3:15,
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
How is the righteousness of God works in you, by the seed. I'm talking about born again believers. How does the wisdom of God or your sanctification and redemption work, by the seed that is in you. The seed-nature-Christ-life-spirit and so on, they all basically mean the same thing, or we can say they are synonymous, meaning the same thing. Remember what John said about the believer, they cannot sin in spirit, why is that? Several reasons, but basically because the seed of God (Christ) remains in you. Sin is a soul-mind issue now not spirit, divide your scriptures believers. How do we know this is talking about spirit, because that is where Christ is, "he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit."
You can reverse all the things listed in spirit and see what was in your previous nature, accept you must add death-life. The life we had was referred to as death-life, or life seperated from God, death-life. There was life but it was a life that came from a fall in a garden, Adamic-death-life seperate and void of God life. You cannot quivel over the world and sin, it is in their nature. What do we preach, you must be born again. The only hope for a person is a new nature. They can quit sinning and still be a sinner, because a sinner is a sinner by nature not because they sin.
Is there repercussions for sinning? absulutely, but sin comes by nature not by simply sinning. If it wasn't for the sin nature there would be no sin. Ah! the cross killed the sin nature in Christ. The only way to get rid of the sin nature is to be in Christ. The seed, look at the two seeds in Genesis, both nature's come from tgose two seeds. All humanity is in one seed or the other. Basically the scriptures deal with the first Adam, and the last Adam (Christ), and mankind is in one or the other. Sinners are dealt with that way, we feel we are dealt with on an individual level when we look at sin now as believers. But truth is our father dealt with the first Adam on the cross through the last Adam.
So we believe now unto salvation and we are taken out of the first Adam and placed in the last Adam, and that seed remains in us forever, Hallelujah!
