Rv 3:1:These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
What a word of correction! You claim to have life and a relationship with Jesus but you are DEAD! How many of us could receive that word? How many would be humble and repent? For those that do there is a promise. He has the seven Spirits of God that will bring you LIFE. Let's look at them:
Isa 11:1-2 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
1)The Spirit of the Lord. This is a TOTAL manifestation of the Holy Spirit that brings us rest. When He manifests himself in totality he brings forth God's eternal purpose. He will pour himself into the Temple made of living stones(The body of Christ) and reveal God's manifold wisdom!
Eph 3:10-11
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
2) The Spirit of Wisdom:
It is by the wisdom of God that we judge and correct. As can be seen from above, the manifestation of God's wisdom is His ETERNAL purpose ( or..the very reason for creation itself)
For the street preachers:
Pr 1:20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
3) The Spirit of understanding:
When the Holy Spirit reveals himself in this way He comes with profound revelation.
A revealer of mysteries and the hidden things of God:
The fellowship of the mystery!
Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
4)The Spirit of Council:
The Holy Spirit will inspire us to encourage those who are cast down.To strengthen the weak and to comfort those that mourn in Zion and bring them peace:
Isa 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
5)The Spirit of Might:
It is not by our own power or our own name that we labor and war. It is by the Holy Spirit flowing out from our broken places and crucified flesh:
Zec 4:6
Not by might, nor by power, but by my SPIRIT, saith the Lord of hosts.
6)The Spirit of Knowledge:
It was by knowledge that we fell. We ate of that tree and died. We ignored the tree of life right in our midst and ate of forbidden fruit. We should have sought TRUE knowledge for the tree of Life for it was Christ himself in our midst:
Col 2:2-3
That your hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;In whom are hid ALL THE TREASURES of wisdom and knowledge.
7)The fear of the Lord.
While perfect love casts out all fear there is a healthy manifestation of it.John, the very one who told us what perfect love would do FELL at the feat of Jesus when he saw him in the midst of the seven lampstands. There are many who take the grace of God for granted. They forget that we will stand before him in judgement:
2 Co 5:10-11
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. KNOWING THEREFORE THE TERROR OF THE LORD, we persuade men...
Lets us persuade men to work out their salvation with fear and trembling
Ph 2:12-13
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Be encouraged...your false claim to anointing and life can become a reality. Turn to Him who holds the seven Spirits.
because they are in reality... a manifestation of one:
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
