The sign of the cross is performed by Catholics and some Protestants, e.g., Lutherans, Methodists, Anglicans, etc.

The Bible does not say that making the sign of the cross is wrong. If you do it with respect, they will not be offended.

Who will be offended? This is just dogma. I can do any sign I want when I pray.
