You are not understanding Paul. The cross he spoke of was the power that separated him from the world.

The Cross is explained by Paul as.. "That Jesus loved me and died for me". "gave Himself for me".

You have a very superficial grasp of what Paul was speaking of. He was NOT religious,

Christianity is not a Religion.

CHRISTiany is Jesus in all the born again, and the born again are all "One With God".

God became One of Us, to offer "the Gift of Salvation and "The Gift of Righteousness" to all of us.

The power of God unto salvation is the experience of the carnal part of a person being crucified..

An unbeliever can control their lust, so, that is your understanding of Salvation.

Whereas a born again Child of God, has been given a spiritual birth by God Himself.

To have this Jesus told you..

"You Must be born again".
