GINOLJC, TO ALL.
The thief on the cross, Paradise and The Kingdom of My Father... This is ALL about where and when and how and what is "The Kingdom".
Luke 23:39 "And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
Luke 23:40 "But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
Luke 23:41 "And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
Luke 23:42 "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luke 23:43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
so the question arises, did the Thief that was on the cross with our Lord did he enter into the Kingdom that day? No.but is in rememberance, when we all rise together.
the reason why we ask this is because of what was said here below
Where and when does “the Son come in his Kingdom”?
In his Last Passover of Yahweh SUFFERING AND TRIUMPH! Ever since his Resurrection from the dead the KING the RISEN CHRIST rules on his Eternal Throne in his Heavenly Kingdom "on earth as it is heaven", and the Law of Jesus' Kingdom, is, "Thy will be done; Thy Kingdom come".
Therefore:
"The First Resurrection This The Thousand Years" (Amillennialism), for the Christian is the only future expectancy relevant to the soon Return of Jesus Christ.
now lets explain this. Matthew 16:28 "
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom".
NOW this is what is called
audience relevance, meaning, his Kingdom is coming while some of the people "standing" right there listening to him will come. and if this is the First resurrection then we all have missed it. for you have two choices.
A. if he has not yet returned then there are some people still walking around that is close to 2,000 years old, and that's anti bible.
B. if he has return, while some standing there listening to him, then we're doomed. here's why. Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he
that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Now if we, who have not made the first resurrection, #1. we cannot be priests of God and christ. and we are facing a second DEATH.
Now, did Jesus come into his KINGDOM yet? yes, WHEN? John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you
another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 14:18 "
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you". BINGO, now hold that thought, and we will see when he "CAME".
then our Lord said this, John 14:19 "Yet a little while, and
the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
John 14:20 "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
John 14:21 "
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him,
and will manifest myself to him. (STOP right there. the Lord Jesus will "MANIFEST" himself to them? hold that thought. lets continue,
John 14:22 "Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord,
how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? (excellent question by Judas, lets see what the Lord say).
John 14:23 "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him,
and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him".
ABODE: is the GREEK WORD, G3438 μονή mone (mo-nee') adj.
a staying, i.e. residence (the act or the place).
[from G3306]
KJV: abode,
mansion
look at definition #1. a staying or resident, better know as a "DWELLING", or a "habitation". so the way the Lord Jesus will "MANIFEST" himself to them was by "DWELLING" in them or taking up resident in them. when did that happen? answer on the day of pentecost. and it is the "MANIFESTATION" of the Spirit that came on Pentecost. he the Lord Jesus indwelled them.
if someone say that the "First Resurrection" happen when the Lord Jesus came on Pentecost then we all has MISSED this First resurrection. (see the ERROR now). for the only "MANIFESTATION" happen on Pentecost was the Holy Spirit whom JESUS is, and he Gave Spiritual Gifts to men. lets see this "MANIFESTATION" of the spiritual Gifts.
1 Corinthians 12:7 "But the
manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal".
there's that "Manifestation" Judas asked about. and all the spiritual gifts are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8 - 11.
so the Kingdom came in power, (Spirit), to revive the Church, other words EMPOWER the Church to carry out his commands. not to raise the DEAD CHRISTIAN in the grave, no, for he will do that at his second "APPEARING". so a bodily resurrection is due then, correct. the question is when? answer, Hebrews 9:28 "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he
appear the second time without sin unto salvation". the first time he appeared was as a babe/the Lamb of God. but unpon his return the second time in flesh, as a Man/the LAMB, not the Lamb of God, but the LAMB.
this is why we teach a "TWO FOLD" return, one in the
Church age, (Spirit, From those who was standing there and did not taste death, to revive, and Empower her, (the church) until now, this present time, adding to here everyday), and the return we yet expect, that will raise what's in the ground, those "BONES", (see Ezekiel 37) restore all who are in him, dead or alive, which is the FIRST RESURRECTION). supportive scripture, Romans 14:9 "For to this end Christ both died, and
rose, and
revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living".
Christ "Rose", but also "revived". this is where a many of Christian faile at in when understanding the "RESURRECTION"
Revived means restore to life or consciousness, (Spirit). and this is done by the Spirit better know as "BORN AGAIN".
many Amillennialism ignorantly believe what is clearly stated by the bible as the "NEW BIRTH", they believe is the First Resurrection. that's their mistake. John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is
born of the Spirit is spirit.
REGENERATION here in the church age is not a RESURRECTION of spirit nor body, but reformed or reborn, especially in a spiritual or moral sense. and reformed means having been
changed in such a way as
to be improved. a change is called
repentance, and an IMPROVEMENT in Christ is called ... "GROWTH". BINGO, we must now GROW in christ as NEW BORN BABES desiring the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby, (1 Peter 2:2)
so this church age is for us to "GROW" in him. not a resurrection, but a "NEW BIRTH" in him.
a re-reading of this post is needed for clarity.
