The Total Solar Eclipse: A Spectacular Proof of God

On August 21, 2017, we in America will be experiencing a total solar eclipse. These are relatively rare events but the fact that they happen at all is a spectacular 'coincidence.'

When you look at the eclipse geometry you can see that all the elements have to be in perfect alignment and in perfect position across the vast distances of space.

What are the chances these elements would come together so perfectly?

1. The size/distance ratio between the sun/moon produces perfect solar eclipses only on the earth out of all the planets in the Solar System.

2. Earth is the only planet in the Solar System that has intelligent beings capable of seeing a perfect total eclipse.

3. “Eclipses occur due to the special coincidence of the moon and the Sun being the same angular size. The Sun is 400 times wider than the moon, but it is also 400 times farther away, so they coincidentally appear to be the same size in our sky.”

4. The shape of a moon must match the shape of the sun in order to block it in totality. Not all moons are perfectly spherical.

5. Total solar eclipses have only been visible or possible for 5% of the earth's history.

Maybe this is a message from God by causing total blackness , just reflecting how much man has turned it's back on God and blocked out the spiritual light, in his arrogance!!!

Up here in Canada it was like any other day...sunny. But at the time it was supposed to be at maximum coverage it was just a bit hazy. But as we have so many forest fires around us, it just seemed a bit smoky.
It was a non-event!!
We put sun glasses on the dog, just in case she looked up! Hahaha!!

lets see what are the chances? how many times has the moon gone around the earth since God made it. that was the fourth day of creation correct? and we don't know how long those days were, and we don't know how many times the moon went around the earth a year, before the flood other than assumptions that it was the same as now.


the chances are pretty good that eventually as many times as the moon goes around the earth that it would cast a shadow on the earth as well as the earth casting its shadow on the moon.

though the vastness of the heavens are a witness to its Creator, what is amazing is in all of that there is a place that is made to accommodate the presence of life.
