In Grace it was never intended for you to live a better life, making the old better by fixing up an old man. Everything that is represented in Adam spiritually died in Christ when he died. How do you get rid of Satan? On Calvary, Calvary's hill will be the place of death for Satan to have his grip over mankind by the nature that possessed Adam when he fell. For the first time since creation man is free to make a choice, there were no choices before the cross. That is what the first few verses of Roman's 7 is all about how man could not dissolve himself of this relationship he was in, the two were inseparable.
That is wonderful news though because that is the way it is in Christ, it is a inseparable Union. So it would take the death of one or the other and neither was dieing, a death must be put in place for them to separate them and then the wife was free to marry another even Christ the scripture says. That is powerful verse of scripture to give us the understanding of what went on in the beginning of time and how it, thy seed will bruise his heal but her seed shall distroy thy seed, take out the head, killed out and as dead as Jesus was when he died.
You know why scripture says we are crucified with Christ? Because we were in Adam and Adam, the old man, has been killed out at the cross by Christ's death. We were in Adam but the moment you believed you were born again into Christ and in Christ Adam is dead. Well then that brings up alot of other issues then. Yes it does because that eliminates all other religions and humanity from doing anything to help themselves out of Adam.
The way out Paul said was to believe, and to hear what the preacher was saying. How shall they hear he said.
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:8-9.
Where does sin come from then in a believer when they act like they still have a Satan seed (thy seed), it is the old mind (soul which is not touched one way or another at the cross) that has not changed yet but is in the father's process of making son's.
