[HEBREWS 6:4-8 KJV] 4 For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned.
[HEBREWS 10:26-27 KJV] 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
[HEBREWS 3:6 KJV] 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
These verses are not saying we can lose our salvation, but rather, are warning believing Israel not to revert back to temple practices to escape persecution, but to remain steadfast in their profession to receive all the promises................[HEBREWS 6:12 KJV] 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
[HEBREWS 10:35 KJV] 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
[HEBREWS 4:14 KJV] 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession............There faithfulness would be rewarded by inheriting the kingdom on earth and the holy city. We have received no such promise, nor do we expect to also receive their promises........[HEBREWS 12:28 KJV] 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
[HEBREWS 13:14 KJV] 14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
