Hi there,
So the Bible says that in future, people will be lovers of themselves. The thing is that, at the moment, people in the World are struggling to be selfish, let alone lovers (of themselves). It's a great opportunity for Witness, that we pray that they learn to be complete, part of which is understanding who you are to yourself. This is a selfish thought, but in the right context could lead to great understanding of the Spirit of God within. We are to lay down our lives, so laying down our lives praying that people's selfishness be established in completeness, would be a great accolade of God. It would have to be in stages, to be powerful, first accepting selfishness, then attributing strength to peace within that selfishness, then developing righteousness in completeness of that selfishness. If it is done right, the selfishness will bloom and die, and the Spirit of God will emerge - in those that are willing to walk with God.
The more that see we are not against selfishness being in its proper place, the more that will be willing to come to God - there will be no need for them to be "lovers" of themselves, they will have a healthy understanding of themselves. Please pray for this, you may save a brother's life, one day - you don't know. The more we pray, the more willing and open people will be to the gospel. These prayers will have been something crucial, to the message of the Gospel reaching the World.
Any way, Peace.
God bless.
