The world was created by God for God, and the only thing that fits the human beings creation is Christ. The Christ life in the born again is the only life the was ever intended to fit the human being. Those words need to reverberate around inside of the believer until it is indelible written in their hearts by the HolySpirit. The average Christian will go through life looking for outer help in some form or another.
The monumental message of Christ in you has lost the matchless truth to believers. Given more to; how to raise your children right, how to get relationships fixed back up, how to work this program and how to work that program. Believers working trying to get their salvation fixed, only to find out they missed something. More law will be put on them to do more, to believe harder and be a better Christian. I have seen the most extremes come from man's ignorance.
When all along the answer has been in them, Christ in you the hope of glory. As long as you go outside of yourself to look for Christ you have missed it, although it was right under your nose you missed it. Religion is not going to find it for you, it is not their job. It is up to you, the believer with Christ in them. As long as you look to the world, to things outside of you, you are lost. Yes Christians can be lost, a Christian, but lost to the understanding of what your Father has done in Christ and what He is doing in you by Christ.
So the born again believer turns to the world for answers. The powers that be are helpers, ministers of helps and thank God they are there, but they are not your answer.
Christ in you is your answer, governments are necessary but they are not the answer to life, Christ alone is life and that life is in you. See through the world to Him who is your only life, you have no other life. You have no work life, church life, marriage life, parent life, or even ministry life. One life and that life is Christ in you the hope of glory.
